Johor Jaya

Taman Johor Jaya is a suburb in Johor Bahru in the state of Johor, Malaysia. Johor Jaya is a developed town that consists of mainly residential zones, but also light industrial and commercial zones.
The town has a population of around 66,000, 49% of it being Chinese, 44% being Malays and 7% being Indian. In addition to its plentiful residential areas, Johor Jaya also has major malls such as Aeon, Tesco, Ikea, and Toppen mall.
Alongside that are major fast food outlets KFC, McDonald’s, and Marrybrown. Major marts like Family Mart and 7-eleven can also be found here.
Skudai

Skudai is a suburb in Iskandar Puteri that is in Johor Bahru, in the state of Johor, Malaysia. Skudai is a developed town that is geographically located in the center of Johor and is the shopping district of the state.
As such, it is home to the major mall, Paradigm mall. Major fast-food outlets such as McDonald’s and KFC can also be found, along with major marts, Family Mart, and 7-Eleven.
The population of Skudai ranges from 160,000 to 210,000. The majority of Skudai's residents are of Chinese descent at around 65%, followed by Malays at 22%, and the Indians at 12%.
